Acupuncture is a natural therapy used to heal and prevent illness while improving overall well-being. When tiny, hair-thin — pain-free — needles are inserted into specific points in the body, Qi (pronounced “chi”) is released and activates the body’s natural healing abilities.
For thousands of years acupuncture has been considered a safe and effective treatment that heals the body’s imbalances by moving stagnant energy. When one or all 12 of our meridian channels are blocked or stagnant (i.e., energy channels connecting internal organs are compromised), we experience dis-ease and/or chronic aliments.
Acupuncture is particularly effective for managing chronic pain and releasing long-time aliments such as arthritis, back pain, infertility, fibromyalgia, asthma, depression, anxiety, insomnia and problems with digestion including food allergies.
A first-time client meets with their Morning Crane acupuncturist for 90 minutes. The (relaxed, no stress, likely no needles) assessment includes an intake survey about lifestyle, health challenges, health intentions, etc. All follow-up acupuncture treatments range from 45 to 60 minutes.
